Finding out the history of my C2

Hello,

I have recently bought a C2 '65 Sting Ray Cabrio, 327 - 250 HP with powerglide.

I would like to ask for some help / advise in terms of how I can check back the history of my car:
- which dealer sold it
- who were the owners
Basically my aim is to get to know its history and if possible find some original documentation and pictures.

The VIN of my car is 194675S123197

here is a web page that will help you start the looking I run your #'s and it came up as a 1965 but you try it and see what you get.

Congrats on your 1965 C2!

On these earlier models it's really hard to get history on them. You may want to try Carfax. I don't know how far back your car will go, but it may lead to the states it was registered in. There's a privacy act involved in this also, so even if you track down the state, I doubt the DMV of that state will release names of previous owners. If you could drop the gas tank, you might find the build sheet.
