Headlight Switch
Removal & Installation 1987-1989
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Then remove the left air distribution duct.
3. Remove the instrument cluster attaching screws and pull the cluster rearward.
4. Disconnect the speedometer cable, electrical connectors and remove the cluster.
5. Remove the instrument panel to left door pillar attaching screws and pull the left side of the instrument panel slightly forward for access.
6. Depress the shaft retainer, pull the knob and shaft asembly out and remove the switch bezel.
7. Disconnect all connections for the switch. Mark the switch from the panel.
9. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Connect the battery negative cable and check operation of switch.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.:smoke:
