I had the '68 in for a quick repair to the r/r fender, which he did a great job blending in 20 yr old paint, but I found some "rough" areas, overspray on the rear deck, and I want to get it smooth again, and rewax. Any ideas on removal, like clay and rewax. It was just rewaxed last fall, thats when I found it! Yes, I know, take it back, but not this time. Next is a full paint, chrome, resto, I hope.:D

The only thing I would recommend is using some white compound and rubbing it out with a nice low speed buffer to take the haze out. You could also rub it by hand, but its more work. If your not used to using a machine you could do a lot more damage. You don't want to burn through the paint or hit any edges. I suggest that you do bring it back, unless you feel comfortable with doing it. If it doesn't bother you all that much, then just wait for the new paintjob. Don't be ashamed to bring it back to who originally did the job. I am sure he would be happy to take the overspray out for you.:)
