B&S Auto Body-Specializing Corvette Restoration For Every Year Corvette

Having the privilege of being an auto body man, and working along side of my father for many years, I have learned techniques which resulted in the highest quality workmanship.  My father was known throughout the industry and regarded with the highest respect.  It's very rare that you come across a body shop where that level of quality  exists, and I was surprised when I came upon B&S Auto Body in Fleetwood, PA, to find such high quality workmanship.  B&S Auto Body has been in the same location for 21 years.   Fleetwood, PA is a small town midway between Lehigh Valley and Reading, PA.  This town is rich in automobile history,  specifically, GM history, where the Fleetwood Metal Body Company originated.....FatherLarry

My name is Richard Boyer and I am the new President of B&S Auto Body. Hopefully some of you are already familiar with B&S and the work we do.  I wanted to introduce myself to everyone and assure you that our work ethics have not changed.  B&S was started in 1981 by Paul Brown who has decided it is time to retire.  I have worked for Paul and B&S since 1982 and have made the decision to purchase the business from him.  Paul and I have always believed that hard work, honesty, and pride in a job well done, are the qualities that create a good business relationship with our customers.  At B&S, we do collision work and restoration work.  We have always specialized in corvettes and also have a lot of experience in street rod and classic restorations.  B&S remains at the same location and has the same hard working employees.  I have added one new employee, my son Dan.  Dan is just out of school and has a great eye for graphics and custom work.  I believe our shop is a well-rounded shop that can satisfy your needs in collision work, restoration work, or customizing.  We all work well as a team and are proud of the work we do.   I invite you to stop in and visit our shop and meet our team of workers and see for yourself the quality of our work.  I hope to meet you soon.

Helpful Tips:

Going out to get estimates is NOT required by law. When an insurance carrier is going to be paying the claim, they have appraisers who write damage reports or estimates, in most cases. That damage report should be written at the shop of your choice to ensure accuracy. It doesn't necessarily matter how many estimates you get. In this business you get what you pay for. "Low dollar" estimates could be deceiving and not accurate, possibly overlooking hidden and serious damages. Needless to say, if you turn in more than one estimate to the insurance company, which one do you think they will choose? Remember go to the SHOP OF YOUR CHOICE.

Insurance companies will write a claim and tend to use after market parts to cut their costs on the estimate.  Remember, you have the right to ask for OEM parts to bring the car back to factory original condition. B&S will help you and answer any questions when comparing OEM parts to aftermarket.  When you go with factory, you know you're getting a factory fit and quality made part.   If the car is old, then the insurance company may tend to go with used parts, which is still better than aftermarket.  In the case of restoring,  where you must use aftermarket reproduction parts, B&S will advise you as to the best manufacturers to use.

Satisfaction

The most important fact to remember is that you should be totally satisfied before accepting your repaired vehicle.  B&S guarantees your satisfaction.
