A Car and Driver comparison in 1974 against Ferrari, Jaguar,
Mercedes and Porsche surprisingly found the 250hp Corvette fastest in both
0-60 and the quarter mile. A milestone was reached on March 14th, 1977
when the 500,000th Corvette came off the assembly line. |

coordinated urethane plastic one. 1974 was the last year before
